Pac Coast Biz Times 40 Under 40

Evan Asher, the 33-year-old Co-Founder of TechEase, was named to the Pacific Coast Business Times’ annual “40 Under 40” list this week.  The special issue is a “report on the next crop of 40 up-and-coming businessmen and women under the age of 40… from San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.  It honors the most influential young leaders in the tri-county area.”

“What an honor to be recognized with the 2010 40 Under 40 class,” said Asher.  “This 10th anniversary class is impressive company to be among, and it’s humbling to see the kind of success previous honorees have achieved.”

Pacific Coast Business Times staff selects awardees based on three criteria: professional accomplishment, community involvement and outside recognition of those accomplishments.  Asher and TechEase have previously received the Spirit of Business Award from the Goleta Valley Chamber of Commerce twice as well as the Community Partner of the Year Award from the Boys and Girls Club.

2010 has been a successful year for TechEase.  “We doubled our office space moving to a new State Street storefront and we launched a completely redesigned website,” said Asher. “Like those successes, being named to the 40 Under 40 list is a reflection of the hard work of my team has put in, and I am grateful to them for that.”
